History and Architecture: The Blooming of the Steel Lotus The Financial Tower is located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City's financial district. Although its height has been surpassed, its status in architectural aesthetics remains high.
Design Concept: The architect did not pursue mere "height," but aimed to create a landmark that represents Vietnamese culture. The shape of the building symbolizes a lotus bud, while the overlapping glass curtain walls represent the petals.
Engineering Marvel: The most talked-about feature is the cantilevered helipad on the 52nd floor. It extends 22 meters outward, suspended 191 meters in the air, and is one of the few helipads in the world that is not built on the roof but "grows" out from the side of the building. The construction difficulty was extremely high, and it was selected by CNN as one of the 20 iconic skyscrapers in the world.

Saigon Skydeck (49th Floor): This is the most frequently visited observation deck by tourists. It features 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows and is equipped with high-magnification telescopes, allowing visitors to take in the winding Saigon River, the distant Landmark 81, and the bustling District 1 below.
Helipad (External Viewing): Although the helipad itself is not open for walking, viewing the building from various angles in the city (especially from across the Saigon River or Bach Dang Wharf Park) makes this protruding disc structure the most eye-catching visual focal point.
High-altitude Dining (Level 50-52): If you don't want to simply buy a ticket to enjoy the view, you can choose to visit the high-altitude restaurants or bars on the 50th to 52nd floors (such as EON51 or SENS). The price of a drink may be comparable to the observation deck ticket, but you can enjoy both the beautiful scenery and the ambiance.

Best Photography Spots:
Indoor: The sunset period at the Skydeck (around 17:00-18:00) is the most beautiful, allowing you to capture the transition from day to dusk to night.
Outdoor: To capture the full view of the "lotus," it is recommended to go to the nearby Thu Thiem Bridge 2 (Ba Son Bridge) or Bach Dang Wharf Park, where the view is the most open and unobstructed.
Spending Advice: The observation deck ticket only includes admission and does not cover food and drinks. If you are an "atmosphere" type of visitor, going directly to the bar on the 51st/52nd floors will be more cost-effective than just buying a ticket (although the viewing angle may vary slightly, the height is higher).
Glass Reflection: When taking photos at the observation deck, indoor lighting can easily cause reflections on the glass. It is recommended to press the lens tightly against the glass or bring a black cloth to block light from behind the lens for better results.
